The Village Board approved an updated dog license fee schedule at their meeting on November 18. The new fee schedule was brought to the Village Board for consideration by staff due to an increase in fees from Dane County for dog licenses. In addition to a change in the fees, the categories have also been updated based on the categories recognized by Dane County.
The fees will now be as follows:
- Spayed Neutered dogs - $25.00
- Unspayed/Unneutered dogs - $34.00
- Puppies spayed/neutered dogs - $17.25
- Puppies unspayed/unneutered dogs - $23.75
- Kennel Licenses up to 12 dogs - $54.75
- Dogs added to Kennel Licenses - $27.75
Dog licenses are now available at Village Hall to purchase, and they must be purchased on or before March 31 in order to avoid a late fee of $5 per unlicensed dog.
