The Street Superintendent manages day-to-day operations in the areas of right-of-way management, snow and ice control operations, storm water facility maintenance, street lighting, street and sign repair and maintenance, curbside collection services, fleet management, and more. In addition, the Street Superintendent supervises five Public Works Technicians.
Starting wage is $35 to $39.25 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. A Commercial Drivers license (CDL) must be obtained within 6 months of hire and Municipal Waterworks Operator Certification in Groundwater and Distribution must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
