National Night Out will be held at Firemen's Park in Cottage Grove on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 5-8 pm. The event is free to the public and demonstrations from public safety entities will be held during this time to include police K-9s, tactical vehicles and teams, E.O.D., crime scene truck, other police patrol vehicles and specialty vehicles and equipment. Fire and Emergency Medical Service personnel and vehicles along with demonstrations will also take place. Free hotdogs and ice cream will be provided and a bounce house will be set up near all the activities. Please come out and see what public safety entities have to serve the public and interact with the personnel from the Cottage Grove Police Department, Dane County Sheriff, Cottage Grove Fire Department and Deer Grove EMS. Bring the children and let's have some fun and get to know each other. National Night Out focuses on building partnerships between law enforcement and the public it serves.
