The Village will have a new trash and recycling collection provider (Pellitteri) for residential properties effective January 1, 2025.
Pellitteri sent out a mailer confirming trash and recycling collection dates. Most residences will not see a change in collection days.
Pellitteri will NOT be providing new trash and recycling carts. Residences will continue to utilize their existing carts.
A major change from 2024 is the end of free curbside bulk pickup. Instead there is now a fee schedule for these items. The fee schedule is available to view on the Village website.
Residents will see a 12.9% and 9.4% decrease in trash and recycling annual special charges respectively as a result of the new provider.
