DEERGROVE EMS STAFFING COMMITTEE
MISSION:
While considering the budgetary concerns of their individual communities, the Staffing Committee shall develop a staffing plan for Deer-Grove EMS District to meet the present and future response needs of the residents of the District’s response area.
RESOURCES:
• NFPA 1710: Standard for the Organization and Deployment of Fire Suppression Operations, Emergency Medical Operations, and Special Operations to the Public by Career Fire Departments
• Dane County Public Safety Communications Center: Response data entered at the communications center from the dispatching software Centre Square to included calls responded to and calls missed
• LifeQuest Elite: Call data entered by the DGEMS staff to drill down to call location, call times, and transport destinations
• Dane County Emergency Management- EMS Division: The Data Analyst has access and ability to manipulate DGEMS through Dane Elite, turning the data into user friendly illustrations.
GOAL:
After meeting to consider all options the committee will present Deer-Grove EMS Commission a staffing plan meeting the guidelines set forth by NFPA 1710.
