COVID-19 Update: Based on the most recent guidelines, outlined by The White House and leading health professionals, to limit gatherings of 10 or more people, Village public offices (Village Hall and the Municipal Services Building) will be closed for in-person public business until further notice. Village staff will be working and members of the public are encouraged to contact our offices by phone or e-mail. Most Village business can be handled on-line/electronically. If you have questions on how to do so, please reach out to our staff for assistance (Village website: http://www.village.cottage-grove.wi.us/). We’re also taking steps to encourage employees who can work from home to do so.
Absentee voting is continuing by mail. Please see the following link to learn how you can vote absentee or early: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/ Any additional information will be shared on the Village’s website and Facebook page.
There is a drop box at Village Hall for any payments, absentee ballots or other documents that you may want to physically deliver.
All Village Committee meetings for the remainder of March and the month of April are cancelled. We will make a determination on May meetings no later than May 1st.
The Village is currently researching options for handling Board of Trustee and Plan Commission meetings via video/audio teleconferencing. Our hope is to have this in place and available to the public in April.
Beginning today, all Village recreational programs and activities are to be cancelled through April. We will revisit this decision and make another announcement no later than May 1st.
