As a reminder to all of our residents, fireworks that explode or go up in the air are illegal in Wisconsin and Cottage Grove. Please be considerate and don't light them off in our village. Many residents and their pets are extremely negatively affected by these types of fireworks. Also, they are dangerous to the people handling them and many visits to emergency rooms result from careless handling.
