The Public Works, Properties, and Sustainability Committee is created for the purpose of reviewing and making recommendations to the Village Board on all public works, public facilities, parkland, park facilities, recreational trail and related facilities.
Members
The Committee shall consist of seven members, and include at least one Trustee and four citizens, with one citizen member being an appointed member of the Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Committee. The Village Director of Public Works and the Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Director shall be ex officio nonvoting members of the Committee.
The Trustee shall be appointed by the Village President, subject to confirmation by the Village Board. The Trustee shall serve for a one-year term commencing May 1 of each year or until his or her successor is appointed and confirmed by the Village Board.
The citizen members of the Committee shall be appointed by the Village President, subject to confirmation by the Village Board. The terms of the citizen members shall be two-year terms. The appointments shall commence on May 1 of the year of appointment, and the members shall serve until their successors are appointed and confirmed by the Village Board.

Meetings
The Public Works, Properties, and Sustainability Committee meets at 6:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month at Village Hall.
