Departments
The Village of Cottage Grove's departments delivers a variety of essential services for the city. Our mission is to effectively and efficiently provide community service to our citizens and partner to foster economic development while encountering our unique community appeal. Administration
The Administration Department serves as a hub for village government administrative, financial, and personnel-related operations.
Clerk's Office
The Clerk's Office is responsible for a wide variety of services including; agenda and minutes administration, election administration, records management, public notices, municipal code, licenses and permits.
Emergency Services
Emergency Services consists of the Cottage Grove Volunteer Fire Department and the Deer-Grove EMS Department.
Finance
The Finance Department prepares the village's budget and financial reports for all village operations.
Parks, Recreation, & Forestry
The Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for the recreation programming and maintenance of park lands.
Planning & Development
The Planning & Development Department offers a one-stop-shop for land and building development.
Police
The Police Department provides a safe place to live, work, and play through quality law enforcement, focused on reducing crime and the fear of crime.
Public Works / Utilities
The Public Works / Utilities Department provides and maintains public facilities and infrastructure.
