NON-FLUSHABLES IN THE SEWER SYSTEM
The Village of Cottage Grove along with the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) continue to find many items that should be discarded in a different manner. Many people donít realize the potential damage and expense that these products can cause to the sewer systems, pumps, treatment plant and/or environment. MMSD has developed an educational brochure for our customers. Please click here for the brochure and list of non-flushable items.
We appreciate your help. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like any further information.
